JEWELERS
Each Jewelry Repairman-Designer at Burnell's has between 24 and 30 years of experience on the jewelry bench. Besides being repairman they are also jewelry designers so they know how it needs to be made. Each has a background in jewelry history and has experience in repairing every kind of jewelry as well as being able to take a jewelry design from start to finish. These jewelry designers have won 41 state and national awards for their jewelry designs.
You will be given a price for the repair before they start. If a piece is beyond economical repair you will be advised. But if there is sentimental value they can sometimes perform miracles.
LASER WELDER
In keeping in step with technology Burnell's took delivery on a state of the art Laser welder in September of 2001. This welder allows Burnell's jewelers to make and repair many jewelry items that were imposable before. The accuracy, high magnification, and finite heat control allows a delicacy that was unheard of just a few years ago. This is the only jewelry laser in use in Wichita, and there are only approximately 500 of this model in the world.
